Hi, I’m Kate. As an adjudicator, I work on the cases that Peter and his team on our consumer helpline pass on to me to resolve.
My work involves looking carefully at both sides of the complaint and weighing up all the facts in front of me. It’s the individual facts and circumstances that matter in each complaint – not how well either side argue the case.
Usually this means I’m able to come up with an explanation or a solution that both sides are happy with. It’s really rewarding to be able to solve problems like this – just by casting a fresh eye over what’s gone wrong and finding a solution that works.
