can the ombudsman service handle disputes between businesses?

We can handle most disputes between businesses about financial services and products, where the party complaining to us is itself:

  • a small business with an annual turnover of less than £1 million (restrictions apply)
  • a charity with an annual income of less than £1 million or
  • a trust with a net asset value of less than £1 million.

If you are a small business wanting to make a complaint we will probably need to ask you questions and request relevant paperwork about your turnover, etc.
